Labour day a chance to reflect on job prospects

Here’s a short history lesson.  On Labour Day, we commemorate the eight hour working day.  And thanks to the struggle led by a Mr Samuel Parnell in the mid-1800s, we also get a day off in October.  In light of this holiday, let’s discuss what September quarter labour market statistics are likely to show when they are released next week.
