Lower dollar helps the economy, but not enough to save dairy

The New Zealand dollar fell about half a cent against the greenback following the Reserve Bank’s official cash rate review this morning, pushing the TWI down to 70.7. The drop in the exchange rate this week has reversed out the appreciation that occurred in December last year and leaves the dollar below its November 2015 average.
