Dairy prices at the latest GlobalDairyTrade auction this week added to their August gains, with the overall index climbing another 7.7% to its highest level since March 2015. The index has now surged 29% over the last seven weeks. Even more impressive has been the 36% rise over the same period in the whole milk powder index, which has also pushed up to an 18-month high.
