Feeling the effects of the LVR squeeze in Auckland

With it now being more than three months since the latest loan-to-value restrictions were formally implemented by the Reserve Bank, we’re beginning to get a clearer picture of the effects of these changes on the property market. Somewhat ironically, the effects have been most acutely felt in Auckland, despite the tightening in deposit requirements being greater across other parts of the country.
