When is self-driving technology really going to take off?

Last year we saw Simon Bridges get taken for a spin in Volvo’s self-driving XC90 and we are already seeing self-driving vehicles tested on our roads .  However, a more widespread uptake of automated vehicles (AVs) is expected until 2035.  In this article we summarise key points from the IHS Markit report on the upcoming shift to self-driving cars and outline what it could mean for New Zealand.
