COVID-19 the Christmas Grinch

As Christmas edges closer, retailers will be wanting to keep their outlets well-stocked for the inevitable shopping rush. However, COVID-19 threatens to be the Grinch most likely to steal Christmas this year. Globally, shipping routes have been disrupted and many manufacturers inundated with explosive case numbers have had to shut down. Luckily, most of Santa’s Christmas factories that service New Zealand are in Asia, which appears to have the pandemic under relative control. Concerns for production and supply chains are still prevalent with growing COVID-19 case numbers and half of Europe going back into lockdown.
