Construction’s playbook for 2021

Residential construction and, to a lesser extent, non-residential construction activity have fared much better this year than we initially expected when COVID-19 led to a massive revision in our forecasts during March and April. The same is true of the wider economy, but there’s still a lot of uncertainty, which could see economic outcomes turn pear-shaped next year. As we turn our heads to 2021, we thought we’d explore the key factors for construction’s prospects next year.
