Trans-Tasman bubble will boost activity, but speed is hard to pick

The recent announcement of a trans-Tasman travel bubble will be welcome news for many on both sides of the ditch. As COVID-19 activity around the globe shifts from response to recovery, opening New Zealand’s borders back up to (some of) the world is significant progress. New Zealand’s tourism operators will be excited by the ability to serve an influx of new customers, but the number of Aussie tourists coming to New Zealand remains uncertain.
