Gareth KiernanHaving previously ordered investigations into petrol stations and supermarkets, the government has turned its sights on the market for residential building materials. The Commerce Commission has been instructed to examine possible barriers to competition in the market, providing a draft report to the government in July next year before publishing a final report in December 2022.
