Unvaccinated workforce estimated at 4.7%

The continued rise in COVID-19 vaccination coverage is encouraging, as it supports safer outcomes for New Zealand and will eventually provide fewer economic restrictions over time. The vast majority of New Zealanders are now vaccinated, but questions have been raised about the proportion of the workforce that might still not be protected. Information is extremely limited, but our rough estimates point to around 4.7% of the national workforce being unvaccinated still, with wide regional variations.
